Lowenbrau Original

A classic Munich Helles lager and one of the most historic beers from Bavaria, brewed by Löwenbräu with roots going back to the 14th century. It’s still made in Munich following the German Reinheitsgebot (purity law), using only water, malt, hops and yeast.

In the glass it pours a clear golden straw colour, with a clean, simple aroma of light malt, fresh bread dough and gentle herbal hops.

The palate is smooth, soft and highly drinkable, showing bready malt sweetness up front, followed by a mild spicy hop bitterness that keeps everything balanced rather than heavy.
