Schlenkerla's Smoked Wheat Beer is a deep amber German brew from the historic city of Bamberg, Bavaria. Crafted with a mix of barley and wheat malts, it combines the fruity, yeasty character of a classic Bavarian wheat beer with bold, savoury aromas of smoked meats—an acquired taste that's beloved by many. Brewed by the legendary Schlenkerla brewpub, located in a 12th-century inn, this beer is part of a unique regional tradition where smoke plays a central role. Even their unsmoked Pilsner picks up a hint of the house character from the nearby smoking kilns.
