Andechs Weizenbock

Andechser Weizenbock 2902, brewed to honor the 150th anniversary of King Ludwig I’s passing, pays tribute to the founder of St. Boniface Abbey in Munich and Andechs. The name “2902” is a nod to the date of his death, the last day of February.

Pouring a beautiful honey hue, this Weizenbock offers an enticingly cloudy appearance with a dense, fine-pored head. Its aroma unfolds with vibrant notes of banana, mango, apricot, and pear, layered with warm spices like clove and nutmeg.
