Brännland - Apple Ice 2024 375ml

Brännland Apple Ice 2024 is a Swedish ice-cider made from 100 % Mutsu apples; the juice is naturally concentrated by cold, then fermented to yield a wine-like sweetness balanced by bright acidity. 

In the glass it pours a light golden colour with a fresh bouquet of crisp apple, stone-fruit and citrus. On the palate, expect stone-fruit and citrus-driven sweetness followed by a smooth, long acid backbone — the result is sweet yet balanced, with a refreshingly clean finish. 

With an ABV of around 9.5 % and residual sugar in the region of 92 g/L, it sits somewhere between a dessert wine and a rich cider — a versatile bottle that works nicely as a dessert or cheese wine; or, for something more unexpected, alongside rich dishes like pork shank, choucroute or poultry with creamy sauces.
