More About Champagne Bonnaire Cramant 2016
A classic Blanc de Blancs from the heart of Cramant in the Côte des Blancs, where the Bonnaire family has long been known for producing some of the region’s most elegant Chardonnay-led Champagnes. Sourced from Grand Cru vineyards on pure chalk soils, the 2016 vintage was vinified in stainless steel with full malolactic fermentation and aged extensively on lees before release, with a low extra-brut dosage (~2.5 g/L).
Refined and expressive, it shows citrus, green apple and delicate stone fruit, alongside subtle pastry and creamy notes from ageing. The palate is both precise and textured, combining fine mousse with bright acidity and a signature chalky, saline finish that lingers.
