Craven Cinsaut 2024

Craven Cinsaut 2024 is a bright, expressive South African red from the organic, dry-land bush vines of Rustenhof vineyard in Stellenbosch, planted on sandy, granitic soils and influenced by cool ocean breezes. The grapes are fully destemmed and fermented in open concrete tanks to preserve fresh fruit energy, then matured on skins before bottling with minimal sulphur.

In the glass it shows a delicate, juicy profile with cranberry, pomegranate and red-berry fruit, lifted by hints of rhubarb, bay leaf, rooibos tea, a snap of white pepper and a subtle saline edge; the finish is precise with fine, chalky tannins and refreshing acidity that keeps it energetic and drinkable.
