Made in Leith by Electric Spirit Co., Achroous is a Scottish gin that sticks to the backbone of a classic London Dry while adding a few interesting twists. It's distilled in small batches using seven botanicals, with Sichuan peppercorns and fennel seed bringing a distinctive character to the familiar juniper base.

Juniper leads the way, followed by fragrant citrus, floral spice and earthy notes from the root botanicals. Fennel adds a gentle aniseed sweetness, while Sichuan peppercorns bring a bright, almost lemon-sherbet quality without much heat. The finish is dry, resinous and gently spicy, making this a great choice for a gin and tonic or a proper gin-led Martini.
