More About Mellow Corn Whiskey 70cl

Mellow Corn is a wonderfully old-school Kentucky whiskey and something of a cult favourite among American whiskey fans. Produced by Heaven Hill, this 50% Bottled-in-Bond straight corn whiskey is made from a mash of at least 80% corn and aged for four years in used Bourbon barrels.

Sweet, full-bodied and surprisingly smooth for its strength, it brings plenty of buttery corn and caramel alongside vanilla, honey and gentle oak. Soft spice adds a little warmth, while the lighter influence of the used barrels lets the character of the corn shine through. An unpretentious whiskey with loads of character and an excellent example of the distinctive straight corn whiskey style.
