Finca Museum Museum Cigales Reserva, a distinguished red wine from Spain's Cigales region, showcases Grupo Barón de Ley's commitment to quality winemaking. Predominantly crafted from Tempranillo grapes blended with Garnacha and Graciano, this Reserva reveals a complex and elegant character. Aged for 18 months in French oak, it emanates aromas of tobacco, dark berries, and leather, with a silky, full-bodied palate. With a deep ruby-red color, the wine offers notes of red berries, blackcurrants, and a lingering finish of roasted hazelnut. Ideal for pairing with grilled meats or mature cheeses, Finca Museum exemplifies the essence of Cigales' rich winemaking heritage, creating wines of exceptional depth and quality.

Finca Museum

Style: Winery

Country: Spain

Region: Ribera del Duero / Cigales

Finca Museum makes Ribera del Duero with absolutely no interest in subtlety. Big Tempranillo, loads of depth, dark fruit everywhere and enough structure to remind you this part of Spain takes red wine very seriously indeed.

The winery works mainly with old vines around Cigales and Ribera del Duero, producing reds packed with black cherry, plum, spice, tobacco and chunky tannins softened by careful oak ageing. These wines feel dense and dramatic without drifting fully into “chewing a wooden bookshelf” territory, which can happen with some heavier Spanish reds.

There’s a strong traditional backbone here too. Long ageing, serious vineyard work and a focus on Tempranillo doing what Tempranillo does best. Rich texture, savoury depth and loads of longevity. You can absolutely imagine these bottles sitting happily beside roast lamb, charcuterie or a table that’s become aggressively covered in Manchego.

Despite the intensity, the wines usually stay remarkably smooth. Plenty of concentration, but enough freshness and polish to stop things becoming exhausting halfway through the bottle.
