The wine is named in honour of their grandfather and has quickly become a benchmark for cool-climate, Burgundian-inspired Californian Pinot Noir.

Sourced from high-elevation, ocean-influenced vineyards just miles from the Pacific, the wine reflects the intensity and freshness of one of California’s coolest wine-growing regions. The combination of fog, wind and dramatic temperature shifts creates Pinot Noir with natural acidity, lifted aromatics and remarkable finesse.

The name stands for Research in Agriculture and Enology Naturally, which sounds mildly academic until you taste the wines and realise the focus is really on vineyard sites and the Sonoma Coast itself.
