More About The Botanist Gin 5cl
More About The Botanist Gin 5cl
Made at Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, The Botanist is a Scottish dry gin that brings a bit of the island's wild landscape into the glass. It's distilled slowly with nine classic gin botanicals and 22 hand-foraged plants from Islay, giving it plenty of depth without losing sight of what makes a good gin.
Juniper and fresh citrus lead the way, followed by fragrant wild herbs, mint and delicate floral notes. There's a lovely balance of earthy, herbal character and bright citrus freshness, with a smooth texture and a clean, lingering finish. At 46% ABV, it has enough weight to shine in a Martini while making an excellent gin and tonic, particularly with grapefruit and a sprig of rosemary.
