More About Unico Zello Delta Blue

A vibrant red blend from the Old Mill Estate in Langhorne Creek, South Australia, Delta Blue combines Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grown on deep alluvial clay-loam soils. The name nods to both the soil (“delta clay loam”) and a love of blues riffs, while the winemaking keeps things fresh and lively with wild fermentation and subtle suede tannins.

On the nose expect blueberry, raspberry and blackcurrant, underpinned by cassia, bay-leaf and clove spice. The palate is juicy, generous but also balanced, fresh core fruit meets plush structure, finishing with a hint of maritime clay and cooler-climate restraint.
