Domaine Mayard Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2024

From the talented brothers Arthur and Hugo Mayard—sixth-generation winemakers based in Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s historic family land—this 2024 Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge reflects their commitment to organic, regenerative viticulture. The blend is planted on vines that include Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Marselan, grown on diverse soils of sand, red-clay and rolled pebbles. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged in concrete tanks, and bottled with minimal intervention, the wine embodies purity, freshness and a respectful approach to the vineyard. 

On the palate it offers lively red and black fruit, cherry, blackberry, layered with hints of garrigue herbs and warm spice; the texture is smooth and supple, supported by fine tannins and a bright, clean finish. Designed to be approachable now yet possessing the structure to evolve over a few years, it pairs beautifully with grilled meats, Mediterranean dishes or a casual evening with friends.
